BANGS is a story about an unsuccessful actress who, in an effort to beat out her arch nemesis and book a commercial, makes the terrible, awful, rotten mistake of giving herself bangs—the worst bangs in the history of bangs, to be exact.

ABOUT ME

Sarah A. Newton is an actress and screenwriter originally from Houston, Texas. She recently earned her Master’s Degree in screenwriting from Azusa Pacific University. Her love of writing punchy female-driven comedy combined with her lifelong “bang envy” is what birthed this short film.
